Extra Mile Challenges is now registered with charity website justgiving.com.
We would encourage as much direct money collection as possible as JustGiving do take a cut and consequently reduce the ammount of money you collect for the charities.

JustGiving is particulalry useful for collection money form people who are not local to you. Teams taking part in our Challenges can set up their own web page and ask their sponsors to make online credit and debit card donations. Go to http://www.justgiving.com/extramile/raisemoney

You can easily monitor how much money you have received, and from whom. Tax relief (where applicable) is claimed by justgiving and added to your sponsorship total, less an administration fee charged by justgiving.com.

Be sure to identify your team (by name or number) when you create your own justgiving site so that we can recognise the money raised by your team. We will pass two-thirds back to you as a cheque payable to your chosen charity (the rest goes to charities chosen by the organisers).

MOST IMPORTANT: your justgiving.com webpage must designate Extra Mile Challenges to receive all the funds you raise. Otherwise accounting for the funds raised is impossible and Extra Mile Challenges is put at risk of breaching charity law.
