The route for the 2020 €2Million Challenge was announced on 9th March 2020. Starting at Le Mans in the Sarthe the first day’s cycling traverses the Loire valley and then heads west to Nantes. Day 2 is a circular route back to Nantes with about 20 miles alongside the Atlantic ocean. Day 3 goes over the hills of southern Brittany to finish at Rennes.
Regrettably Covid 19 caused the postponement of the 2020 challenge until 2021. It is likely that the above route, already planned, will become our 2021 €2 Million Challenge to celebrate this magnificant total amount donated to over 300 charities.
We did organise a virtual 20:20 Challenge in September 2020. Our supporters cycled their own routes over the weekend of 25-27 September 2020. Some cyclists covered over 100 miles on that weekend. Entry fees were matched by Extra Mile Challenges and enabled our great cyclists to raise thousands of pounds for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes and Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger, Bedford.
